Engineering Windows 8 blog..

Already two years ago I found something on the VMWare site about Windows 8, a year ago a placeholder on the blog from Engineering Windows 8 was set.

Today, after checking it again the name Steven Sinofsky was (still?) visible in the source code:

<linkrel="alternate"type="application/rss+xml"title="steven_sinofsky's Comments (RSS 2.0)"href="/members/steven_5F00_sinofsky/comments/rss.aspx"  />
<linkrel="alternate"type="application/rss+xml"title="steven_sinofsky's Activities (RSS 2.0)"href="/members/steven_5F00_sinofsky/activities/rss.aspx"  />
<linkrel="alternate"type="application/rss+xml"title="Activities of People steven_sinofsky Follows (RSS 2.0)"href="/members/steven_5F00_sinofsky/activities/followersrss.aspx"  />
<linkrel="alternate"type="application/rss+xml"title="steven_sinofsky's Groups Activities (RSS 2.0)"href="/members/steven_5F00_sinofsky/activities/groupsrss.aspx"  />

Sinofsky is currently managing the teams that are working on the successor to Windows 7, codenamed “Windows 8” or “Windows.Next”, as well as Internet Explorer 9, Windows Live Wave 4, and it’s future successor, Wave 5.

Should we expect some information soon as more and more information from builds leak? We’ll keep an eye on it 😉

WordPress Like button

First we had reblogging, new WordPress added the famous “Like” button for posts.

I disabled the previous Like-button system (thumbs up/down), this was more a blogpost rating. I’ll use the new default Like button now.

Have fun and I hope you like it! 😉

P.S.: We are on Facebook 🙂

Engineering Windows 8 blog soon?

Are we going to have some news about the Windows 8 development in the near future? Their blog is already taken and the title is TBD.

On 20/10/2009 I also found a Windows 8 indication on the VMWare site. Does this mean Windows 8 + more Virtualization?
