TinEye gets update and drops beta label

In case you didn’t noticed it: TinEye has updated it’s website and dropped the beta label.

TinEye is a reverse image search engine (see older blog post).

I use it almost every week:

Scenario 1: I have a small, crappy image and a search for a better one

  • Go to TinEye
  • Paste your crappy image url or upload your sucky image file
  • Watch and filter the results 🙂

Scenario 2: I have an image from a good looking girl but I don’t know her name

  • Go to TinEye
  • Paste the image url or upload the babe-image
  • Watching the results: the urls or filenames in the results often reveal  the name of the good looking girl 😉
